Look At Me Go!
I think you all know that I am not a driver. I only got my learner's license in December, just a couple months after turning 30. I tried driving a couple times when I was 14 with a couple of boyfriends who took me out in parking lots or country roads, but not much. Then once I took my mom's car out of Grace's mom's driveway in Alliance and backed it straight into the ditch! No damage thank goodness, she'd have killed me! Then my old friend Lieutentant stole her dad's car when I was maybe 15 or 16 and I drove it up onto a snowbank on a meridian & ripped the back bumper off! Not much luck with driving... and I've been so scared to keep trying, especially after working with auto claims & hearing such horror stories. Then 3 years ago I thought I'd try again and Hank let me drive to Zeller's. I got as far as the parking lot & then hit the curb & wrecked the tire/wheel. Woops.
But now I am having a baby. I seriously need to just get 'er done! So I made Hank take me out driving last night. We just went around my neighbourhood and it only lasted 20 minutes, but I did okay... for pretty well a first time. But I think Hank shit his pants a little bit! He was soooo nervous! It was comical actually! ;)
I am going to keep making him take me and once I have some extra cash I'll probably take a few lessons & have my license soon. WOO!
