I'm Back - New & Improved!
All is wonderful in my world again. The time off and help I needed was very benficial and then with the great news we received life has really taken a turn.
I AM PREGNANT!
I added a new ticker to the bottom of the page. I am 10 weeks now & due on March 7.
We are both so happy and excited. Now begins a whole new life for us. And I am working on being the new and improved Karen, and loving it so far :)
I went back to work this week. It's busy as hell but it's been nice to get back into the normal swing of things.
My tummy & boobs are already changing shape but I don't think I've gained too much for weight yet. The scale doesn't say so but my bra & pants sizes do! I get a weekly email about my pregnancy and the latest says the baby is about the size of a lipstick now. Wow... can you believe it, I am building a baby as we speak!
And the house makes me so happy too. I love it and hope we'll live here forever.
I'm just waiting now for Hank to propose. We've talked a lot & want to be married before the baby comes so all he has to do now is ask... not quite sure what he's waiting for, but I am confident it's around the corner.
A new template comes with my return to Diaryland... what do you think? I hope I can try to keep up better now since I was on such a hiatus there... but I just don't feel like spending time on the computer too much these days. Well, except tonight, I was wide awake & bored, Hank went to sleep so I have been working on this a good part of the late evening. I had a coffee tonight, (So sue me! Coffee isn't so bad for baby... I have quit drinking so let me enjoy a cup of joe once and awhile!) so I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon!
I have my OB appointment on September 4th. I hope I'll get an ultrasound then & get a picture of the baby and hear it's heartbeat. I also want to know the sex... but still haven't decided 100% if we will... Hank says he might want to awit... but I think I can convince him otherwise ;)
The animals have all adjusted very quickly and well to the move, and Dusty hasn't been sick at all anymore, thank goodness.
Here's a couple of little slideshows of our home. It just doesn't do it the justice it deserves, you have to see it in person, but this gives you an idea anyway. The pics were taken just after moving in so ignore the way things are hung on the walls etc. They were just mostly put there on hooks that were already there to get them out of the way. Things have changed a bit since. Off of the office there is another storage room which has our second fridge, the deep freeze, furnace, hot water tank etc. & that's where the cat litter is too. Beside the bathroom downstairs is a good sized laundry & storage room too. Also downstairs there is one more room which we just have as storage right now but one day it'll be more of a play room too I think. The kitchen was hard to take a full photo of. The pics don't really show how big it really is. I am so happy cooking in there now, and see the little TV in the corner? LOVE IT! The new dining set we got only shows seating for 4 there, but it opens up into a big square and has 2 more chairs & a bench. We can seat 8 for dinner now. We have once, it was so awesome! Oh, and Cupid was following me around while I took the pictures and seemed to have snuck in a few! Cutie patootie!
