IT'S A GIRL! (And a bunch of other crap)
FIRST, I want to say:
Congratulations to Barbie & The Rocker on the birth of their baby girl Kaitlyn!
She was 2 weeks late and a whopping 10 lbs, 10 oz! Must take after Daddy! She was born on Sunday, February 25. I am very happy & excited for them, they are all happy & healthy & I can't wait to meet her. Baby shower is next weekend, that will be nice, but I hope to see them soon otherwise, because it will be pretty busy & chaotic at the shower with all of those people. I want some one-on-one time (rather 2 on 3 if it's Hank & I and them!) with just them. I miss them. Anyway -

Welcome To The World Kaitlyn! XOxoXO

Another week gone by, too busy to write in here. I think my membership is expiring soon... I guess I better renew that before this site looks all messed up & you can't read it anymore...

Oh well... maybe later, if I have a little time, I want to update first.

Things at work are still hectic & crazy-busy. I've been picking up lots of extra hours though.

Things at home with Hank are still really, really good. We are having such good times together and focusing more on being happy & positive than grumpy & nagging. I know I am working on letting the little things not bug me so much & not make them into fights, and he seems to be working hard at not being so grumpy & being more attentive & loving again. I am happy.

We went & did our taxes on Saturday morning. I didn't get much back, but a little to have a couple bucks to play with. We went to Boston Pizza for lunch after. They told us about the lunch special - an individual (8 inch, I think) Deluxe pizza with a soup or salad for $7.95. The pizza alone is regularly $8.95 - so yes, of course we'll have it! (Not sure what soup normally costs, probably a few bucks though.) Then we have more money for beverages! Ha! I guess they have that same special every day for lunch, but the pizza and the soup change flavours. Yum... what a great idea for us if we feel like lunch out. Hey... Pssssssssst! BP's - do I get a free lunch for this advertisement?!? Heehee. Anyway, we had our lunch and a drink and we're having just a nice afternoon together. We decided to stay there, play a couple bucks in the machines and hang out. It was really nice. We are so back to being best friends & lovers again. Yay! From there we went home for a quick few minutes to let the dog out & then off to his step-sister's for dinner.

The whole family was supposed to be going but Step-Mom wasn't feeling well so Dad decided not to come either, so it was all just us 'kids' and Uncle K - but he's just one of us anyway! It was really fun though, she made a huge wonderful dinner & we all had a great time.

I stopped on the way & picked out an arrangement (each piece picked special by me - I made a lovely bouquet, of course with the help of the florist - this is the first time I've done something other than picked out something pre-made by Safeway - wow is this ever much better - and worth the $) anyway, it was from Academy Florists and from now on I will go there for my flower buying needs. Hey, what is with me an my advertising these days?!? I want money, fuckers! Haha. Anyway, WAY off topic AGAIN... She really loved the flowers - I think that was a pretty darn kewl thing for me to do, just because.

We left there early, around 8 or so, because poor Frankie had been home pretty much all day without us. We were feeling good & wanting to 'play' but no one seemed to be around, so we plugged in the mic & started singing karaoke just the two of us! We had a friggen blast taking turns and we stayed up partying together until 1 or 2 or something! It was so good.

Man, I love my Man. :)

Sunday was a beautiful day outside so Hank went to D's & I caught up with them later, I took Frankie for a walk & then he played in the snow for awhile at their place. He was so cute burrowing his head in the snow looking for something. We went back home & Hank built a fire & we sat around it & I had some nice blueberry tea (Amaretto, Grand Marnier & Orange Pekoe tea (decaf for me of course!)). It was nice. But I was tired & called it a night & came in to watch the Oscars. Frankie was exhausted by then anyway from his exciting day in the snow, so he came & crashed with me.

Monday I went with CFour to do her canvassing for the Heart & Stroke foundation. She goes door to door in her neighbourhood looking for donations (February is Heart Month, I believe) so Frankie & I went for the walk. It made me feel good and I am considering doing something like that in the future, maybe for cancer or something.

Tuesday I spent the afternoon at the dentist. Fun. Quiet evening at home.

Wednesday I went to get my nails done. I was talking to the people that work there & another lady who was having her nails done. They were looking at photos from their trip to the Dominican (I think) and the lady said something like, "Boy, it'll be nice that I can take a trip like this now." And the guy doing my nails said, "Yes, not like before." I didn't know what they were talking about but I was sure curious. I guess he saw it in my face & he said that Judy has just won the 6.8 million in the lottery! She was in the paper that day. I almost cried to hear it, it was so exciting, even though I have never met the lady before. She told the story of it and stayed to talk to us for quite awhile and I found that she was a really great person, very deserving of this fortune. She found out she won I think on the Thursday & actually stayed on at work until the following Monday so they could replace her! What loyalty! I am not sure I would - or even be able to - I'd be puking all over the place I'd be too excited and overwhelmed to work! The funny/weird part is - she got the numbers from a tarot card reader last September, a year and a half ago. The psychic gave her lucky numbers of 5, 6, 17, 21, 31 and 45, but for some unexplained reason Judy changed the last number 45 to 46. She's used those numbers since and the winning numbers were: 5, 6, 17, 21, 31 and 46! Whoa - Weird! Almost creepy, eh?!? Anyway, I am really happy for this lady & glad someone won that is a hard working every-day kind of person... usually seems to me that the rich get richer & the poor get poorer. So a big congrats to you, that Judy Mayer! All the best to you! (Click on her name for more on the article & her story.) I've never sat next to a millionaire before- that I can think of- nevermind one that just won it days ago in the 6-49. I sure think it is exciting & kewl... don't you?!?

I won another stuffed animal (a cow) today that has a shirt on that says, "Pazzi si diventa" does anyone know what this means? A girl at work tried it on a yahoo translator or something & it said "Crazy is it become" or something like that... whatever the fuck that means. Can anyone help me? I am so curious!

Anyway, I was about to go on about Thursday & Friday of my week, but I have run out of time, my shift is about to end. Luckily this one wasn't so busy, it was nuts all week and I was asked to work a full 8 hours instead of 5 today & I took it, almost regretting it because it's been so busy, but in between calls I was actually allowed time to write all of this!

So I'll catch up again as soon as I can.

Hope all is well out there in Diaryland and everywhere else!

Toodle-oo! :) ***I first posted this yesterday after irst typing it in word.... boy - won't do that again! It came out all weird- everytime I put ... or smilies or even a comma or apostrophe it had all these weird letters & symbols in here. I have just kinda fixed some of it- but don't have time to fuck around in here so I just kinda replaced things with ... (seeing as it seems I use that a whole F of a lot! (And now I think I realize what Weathergeek's entry was all about that day............! Fucker! ;))) but I wasn't about to change every single damn apostrophe etc. too - so I hope you can make out what it means, I am sure if you have over a grade 5 education - you can do it! Lol! Anyway - the modifications are 'done' as of noon Sunday Mar 4. I hope this is a bit more legible. Sorry.
