Just My Luck
Wooo... two entries in one day...
I'm on my lunch break & need to pass some time... so sue me.
My luck is strange.
Last week I wanted a gyro so for lunch I headed to the food court to go get one at Niko's. It's not there anymore... hmmpph... could have sworn it was there last time I was in the food court. So I eye around for what I want & toy with the idea of a hot-dog & poutine from Skinner's, but decided against it & went to Koya. But today, I decided that hot-dog & poutine sounded good & I headed for Skinner's. It's gone.
Weird.
So I decide I'll try Manchu Wok. I rarely ever eat there, I usually regret it. I did again. Can someone tell me why I go back?
I have a gambling problem. (Way to segway into that topic, Karen!!! :P) I am so addicted to the 'claw machine' that you win stuffed animals from! The rush of excitement & pride when I get one is so awesome! I am such a loser, 'eh?!? I used to play them once in a blue moon for fun & then stopped. When we got Frankie I thought I'd try again 'cause he loves stuffed bears. I won him one on the first try a few months ago & thought it was so easy after that, I've probably spent $30 bucks on the stupid things since! And maybe won one! But today friends, is my day! It is usually a buck a play, but for $5 you get 6 tries. I thought, what the hell... my lunch break sucked so far, maybe this'll brighten it! I won TWO bears. Well, one bear - so cute - with a hat & sweater, and a spotted leopard, or would that be a cougar? Whatever, I don't know my animals, but he is very cute & holding a rose. Frankie will be so ecited to rip these up! (He only gets one at a time, and they last a few weeks each.)
My lunch is over in 3 minutes... I don't wanna go back! It is stupid busy today - it always is after a full moon... weird 'eh? Oh well... half of it is over. But I am kicking myself for changing my 5 hour shift into an 8 and a half hour one! I am tired!
Well, maybe if I get some time in between calls I can make a 3rd entry! ;) (The last one ws on my first coffee break. (I haven't gone out to smoke today.))
