My Baby Is Sick! :-(
Wow, look at me updating again! This is like 5 within the last 10 days! Pretty good for someone who left ya hanging for so long 'eh?!?
But it's not good news...
Frankie is sick & I am so scared! Hank came home yesterday & there were two explosions of diarrhea in his kennel. He's had the runs all night & even through the night he was getting up & we had to let him out every hour to explode. At least he was making it outside but while I was in the shower this morning I came out & there were three poop puddles under the desk in the spare room & he was hiding in his kennel. (I think he was worried we'd be mad - if he messes in the house we scold him of course, but we know right now he is sick & it wasn't his fault, I wasn't there to let him out in time.) Anyway, I am all freaked out & it was so hard to leave him at home this morning but I had no choice. Hank might check on him during his lunch hour. We might have to take him into the vet tonight if this keeps up... ugh... CHA-CHING!
Not sure what is up with him. Hank gave him some of the sauce from the chicken cacciatore his Mom made for dinner & mixed it with his food on Sunday night, but he wasn't sick until the next day & it seems to just be getting worse, when you'd think if that was the case it would be out of his system by now...

[EDIT] Well Hank called the vet & they said we could wait it out or try a human drug called Kaopectate as well as feed him some plain rice & maybe ground beef & see if that helps. So I looked online & this seems common so we'll try it. I picked some up - seems to me just like Pepto-Bismol. And I'll make him a nice little supper & hopefully this works. I feel so sad for him 'cause he really looked like the felt bad that he'd been 'bad' for making the mess in the house (thank God it's not carpeted!) and he must be feeling so shitty *NO PUN INTENDED!* I sure hope it's just something he ate & nothing more serious. Pray for our Frankie Doodle!
Also - Here I am feeling all bad about not posting for so long, and now I am trying to keep more current & no one is commenting! Does anyone still read this or what?!? ;) Talk to me!
