Yep... more Frankie stories!
I can't wait for break time. I am so hungry and craving something greeeeeeasy! Probably gonna hit McDonald's. Haven't done that in a long time... so I don't feel guilty about it. Tad of a hangover or something... I totally crave that shit after a night of drinks etc.
Yeah I was a bad girl last night... Booty-Eh came over & we had some drinks to celebrate her new job. The D&CFour came over & joined us for dinner. Then LilWea too. We all had a nice dinner & some drinks. Then about 10ish everyone was leaving & I asked CFour to stay a little while longer...
A little while... until like 2am. FUCK! What the heck were we thinking?!? Good thing I didn't start work till 3 today! (Had my Dr. appointment at 2 though.) I was very sleepy. And Hank asn't impressed because we were being loud & singing! Silly girls. It was fun though. I've done that before when I've stayed up & played while he slept & there was no problem, he slept right thtough it... so I figured he would this time... apparently not...
I feel bad, 'cause he's working a real long stretch of 12 days in a row & is tired as is... I guess I wasn't thinking. Sorry love.
Frankie is such a little sweetheart... YES I AM TALKING ABOUT THE DOG AGAIN!!! ;) I was folding laundry on the couch & he was sitting on the rug 'cause there was no room for him on the couch at the time with all the laundry. I was watching Oprah and she made me cry [friggen Oprah!] and as soon as Frankie heard me sob/sniffle he came running up & bounded onto the couch and jumped up & put his arms on my shoulders & his head up on me like a big hug. It was soo damn sweeet!
Another Frankie story: Booty-Eh, LilWea, CFour & I were sitting in the living room while DFour & Hank were in the back fiddling with the dryer (another story coming up) and I guess Frankie wanted some attention... so suddenly he comes into the the living room proudly carrying an empty beer can!!! He was holding it right from the mouth of the can (like where you would drink from) and looking at me waiting for me to say something! I couldn't say "No" or "Bad" or anything, because I couldn't stop laughing! It was too cute! SO I just took it from him & put it away & he didn't seem to care. I think he just wanted someone to either say "Thanks", well more like "Good Boy" or something... or even yell at him not to do that... just some kind of attention because for like 5 seconds we weren't all over him! Too friggen funny. Too bad we can't teach him to go in the fridge & get me a full cold one!!!
So the dryer is dead.
I was doing laundry last night & suddenly there was like no heat. DFour fiddled with it awhile & it came back on, but not for long & died again. We have Hydro coming in tomorrow to see if they can do anything & if they can I guess all they bill you for is the part... but it's a gas dryer from 1969 so I kind of doubt it's gonna be fixable & might have to go to dryer heaven. Great... just what we need - another expense... a new dryer. I think we'll try & get a used one though, since we'll be leaving it when we move anyway. We'll see.
So Hank is at Keith's now drying our bedding & I might have to go there after work & put a load in as well cuz I have no clean work pants for tomorrow!

So were trying to get all our plans in order for Christmas in Edmonton... it all seems like it will be good... but I am worried about transportation... I hate having to rely on everyone else. So I checked out a rental car - that's like 4 or 500 bucks! No thanks. It's costing us enough just to be there. But I am going to call Airmiles tomorrow & see if there are rental companies that you acn pay with Airmiles. If so, and it's not too pricey & we can afford it, we might go that route... otherwise we're screwed.
I found this pic on someone's MySpace. It reminded me of my post yesterday, how Frankie humped Cupid. This cat looks nothing like mine, but the dog is similar... our dog has much longer ears though. Anyway, it made me laught & I wanted to share it:
