New Hair & The Dog's Bear
So we are keeping the baby... and we don't have to bring him back to her at all... we don't want to confuse him more, or have them just starting to adjust (him & the cats) and then have to start over again. I don't remember if I already said this in the last post and I am too lazy to check! Lol.
I really dislike the name Spike... more & more each day I hate saying it. I don't want to have to live with it for the rest of his life. He really does seem to be responding to Frankie... but Hank is still calling him Spike. He said today if I hate it that much we can change it, so we're going to have to make it official asap & get him trained on it.
I am also looking into puppy school so he can learn stuff & so can we... I don't think he was too disciplined at his old home... he barks lots too. It'll all take time. My friend too her dog to a place that was $80 for 6 weeks & she said it was very helpful. Might have to check that out. Also, pet insurance looks like about $10 - $20 a month... not too bad... we'll have to look further into that too.
And all his shots etc... $$$ ch-ching! But Hank said he'd look after it with the money he still has from the house.
Sue next door gave him a stuffed kitty over the weekend... he loves playing with it, but it's been an outside toy & got all icky so it's staying out there. And a couple little balls to fetch. So I gave him the one & only teddy bear I still own for him to play with in the house. It is so cute to watch him with it, carrying it around, biting it and shaking it around, playing fetch with it... I say "Go get your bear" and he runs and picks it up and plays with it or brings it to me... so freaking adorable. Here's a pic from today... but he's so funny, as soon as he hears the click of my camera phone he turns his head... camera shy I guess!
And while I was taking pitcures, here's one of me... I dyed my hair today. Back to auburn. You can't really see the color very well in the pic (my cam sux!) but whatever, I like it.
If you look back about a year... I think it would be Oct.22 I dyed my hair somewhat the same colour... more brown though & took a picture... then the next day I feel & broke my shoulder. I sure hope history doesn't repeat itself! KNOCK ON WOOD!!!
Do people think I am narcissistic for posting pics of myself all the time?!?
Stupid night shifts this week. Hate em. usually though I get a lot done during my day off with Hank not around... but this week I've done hardly anything but lay around with the dog or play with the dog... and then I get home after 9 or 9:30 and I am all hyper & stay up too late... ugh. BootyEh is going to JJHey's after our shift & asked me to go... I wouldn't mind going for a bit... but I dunno... I should probably chill & go to bed early if I can & get something accomplished tomorrow... ah... but you only live once right?!? ;)
Oh yeah, I booked our flight tickets for Christmas! Yay! I figured I better do it now while there was still options for direct flights & the price will only get higher as it gets closer to that time. So we leave Friday the 15th & come back on Boxing Day. Sweet!
Well, I guess that's it for now... i am gonna look into puppy schools.
