Babbles of the week passed & more pictures
Hello... Did you miss me? ;)
This week seems to have just flown by! Friday night we just hung out at home & then stopped by C&Dfour's for a while. Saturday we got busy in the house & got lots done. Then we had THREE parties to attend! We had to do some running around first to get gifts & booze etc. Then we headed to Logan's first birthday party. We didn't stay long there, less than an hour probably - gave the gift, had a beer & left to Uncle D & Auntie W's 25th anniversary. It was pretty cool - they even had a band - all in the yard! Had some drinks & some food & enjoyed... but I couldn't help but think about LilWea the whole time. She was having a birthday party that same night. We told her before that we couldn't go because of this family thing, but her Mom is dying & it is just so sad... I wanted to do something to help put a smile on her face... I knew she needed it. I knew she had other people there, but I know the feeling - the more the merrier and at a time like that it is best to have all the friends & smiles you can get around you! So we left the party early & surprised her. She was very happy. We had a good time there too.
Sunday we did some more running around, groceries etc. and then Hank's (oh yeah, did I menion I am just gonna use his name now? Everyone who reads this knows who he is... and HW isn't being any more secretive or anything, so whatever...) anyway, his sister J is in from BC so she came for a sleepover. We had her & K over for dinner & hung out for drinks etc. It was kewl to get in this time with her.
Monday, work & another visit with C&DFour.
Tuesday, work & then we went to Wpg Mom's for a big family dinner... it was fun... I had too much rum & coke though! Had a headache in the morning! Good thing I didn't work till 4:15 the next day.
Wednesday I was lazy all day & worked the night shift. Hank picked me up & we went to pick up hot fudge sundaes (I had a craving!) and went home to watch the 20/20 where Barbara Walters interviewed Terry Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter's wife)... I cried lots.. it's so sad. So we cuddled & went to bed for some long awaited & much needed loving! :)
And it's already Thursday. I feel like the weekend just passed, yet another is already just about here... oh well, must be a good thing, it flies when you're having fun!
Tomorrow is LilWea's actual birthday. MB is taking her for lunch. I am not off till 1:30 but I hope I can join them for a bit in the afternoon, she is such a great gal.
I am having a frustrating day at work. Seems I'll never get out of the call centre... we all thought, "what a great place to start out in the corporation, I can only move up from there..." well, apparently not so... it's hard to explain... I'll try another day... I just am too pissed too get into it right now... I mean, I can't complain about the pay... but shit, I have been in call centres for so long, I want out - I want MORE... and I feel so discouraged... AHHH!

This one is a picture of me on the evening of my actual birthday at BP's (Boston Pizza). I am drinking a drink called "Double-Oh-Heaven" I ordered special for my birthday dessert & I was talking to my Mommy on the phone... I was so happy!
