Drunken Weekend!
Yucky Tuesday after a long weekend... Worse even than a Monday! BLAH!
So, here's my weekend:
Friday after work we just hung out & went to C&D's for a little bit. We were home by 10. I got home & called Princess & Prairie Dog 'cause they sent me an early birthday gift & I wasn't sure if I was supposed to open it early. They said yes. So I opened it with them on the phone. They got me a gift certificate to get a pedicure! WOOHOO! That is sooo sweeet! Thanks again guys! Love ya! I talked to them for a bit & then we went to sleep.
Saturday I couldn't sleep so I was up at like 7am. We just relaxed a bit & HW went & got us McBreakfast... mmmm... then we went out to grab some stuff at Zeller's and then to his Mom's to get the sump pump & water her plants. We got home & drained the pool... bye-bye pool... I guess summer is over! But it was SOOOO hot this weekend - I wish we could have jumped in it just one more time! But we hadn't been in it or cleaned it in so long it was dirty & gross anyway. I worked in the house & HW & D worked outside... it really needed some TLC. I quit inside the house & joined them outside & then made dinner for all of us when Jes got home from work. Corn on the cob, italian sausages & tortellini (I was lazy - it was just a Sidekick thing!) but it was good. I was so annoyed though, cuz this chick Char who drove Jes home decided to invite herself for dinner. I said that we didn't have much, but I didn't know what to say & not be rude (she annoys the fuck out of me as it is - I really don't care for her at all) but she stayed & ate and then suddenly she's like, "I hate to eat & run but I have to go." Well, why the hell would you stay & eat if you knew you had to leave anyway?!? Grr. So she left & we all just chilled awhile. D & Jes left 8ish & we watched TV & went to bed 10 or 11ish. We were beat from working in the sun all day... and having some beers too.
Sunday we planned on staying home & getting more work in the house done. I made HW & I some breakfast & then I started some laundry when Uncle K showed up. So we took a break... then C&D showed up... so another break... but then they were helping us in the yard so we got motivated again. The open house was going on next door too, so we could kinda keep an eye on what was going on. MB & LilWea came over too, so we stopped working around 4ish and hung out till the open house ended & the realtor came by to talk to us. It went well, we had about 23 couples. By then we were all buzzed and someone came up with the idea to go to Gio's (a gay bar) for a little bit. I decided what the heck, I never really go out, so we went. Of course HW wouldn't go... he doesn't normally like bars as is, but I doubt I could ever drag him to a gay bar! We went about 7 or 8... I forget... it was me, C&D, MB, Jes & LilWea & Jjhey met us there. It was drag night & they had a show. It was fun... I got a little crazy & was drinking dirty martini's and all kinds of shots etc. WHOOOO! I stopped & drank water for a good part of the night though! We all left about 11:45. It was game over for all of us since we started so early... but what a freaking blast it was - I forgot how much fun it is to go to the bar once & awhile!
Got up in the morning & HW didn't seem to impressed... he assumed I spent too much moeny... ah, whatever, I'm over it, and he is now too, but he was being a Mr. Grumpypants most of the day. I mean, c'mon - I NEVER go out like that, so once & awhile ain't gonna kill us! Anyway, I was all hyper in the morning... maybe still drunk... lol so I invited MB over for breakfast. I made Ziploc omelettes - a recipe Princess sent me. (Email me if you want it). It was sooooo goood! Then we sat in the yard & started the party all over again! WOOO! Crazy! D & Jes came by too & C&D for a little bit. We didn't get anything accomplished, but oh well... we did lots this weekend and it was fun & nice to kick back & have some r&r for a change. Anyway, Mich left, and soon after D & Jes did too. I made swiss steak & perogies (and burned my hand on the oven while I was at it... fuck! OUCH!) After dinner I was BEAT! I laid on the couch & watched TV about 7ish & passed right out. I woke up at 9 as HW was just getting back with Kyle (they had to run out for an hour or so & I didn't even know!) and then we went back to bed. I was up then watching TV till 11ish. (And he stopped being mad & grumpy around supper time, so all was cool). But this morning I sure felt the abuse I'd done to my body all weekend! Yikes! Oh well... I'm only 29 for 7 more days!
Anyway, all in all it was a good weekend. I feel a lot better now than I did this morning...
AND OFFERS COME IN TONIGHT! Please pray we have one, or some, that are at least what we're asking!
We had like 11 people come on Thursday, only a couple on Friday & 4 or 5 Saturday... so here's hoping...
Not much else to say at the moment... but rest assured...
