Mission Accomplished... I Guess.
Well I sure stirred something up from my note to Goldglow... she called Weathergeek and apologized, so that's good, obviously it made her realize she was wrong to say what she did to/about Weathergeek & his loss. But she didn't have anything nice to say to me, boy oh boy! Lol... I am fine with it. I got her to realize & admit what she'd done & she apologized to him, which in turn helped him because I'm sure it hurt a lot. So I accomplished what I needed to, even if she does hate me for it... I don't care, it's not like we were friends anyway. I wasn't meaning to insult HER, I was just so angry about what she'd said, it made me think, Wow, what kind of person is this, and what kind of values is she teaching her son? But I guess if she realized her err & made amends, then maybe she's not so bad after all... I know I've said crappy things out of anger too...
Anywho... 'nuff of that drama ;)
I have a question. When Bob Barker kicks the bucket, will they get a new host, or will The Price Is Right end for good? I just don't think it could ever be he same without him. And he is pretty darn old... anyone know HOW old? And that's what old people do... they die. (Quote from 'Old School' - at Blue's funeral).
Here's something gross... but don't tell no one... we want the house to sell... When we were cleaning up the basement Hank swept up a little dead brown mouse. Ick. I don't know how long it'd been there... but ICK! I hope there are no more... but I recently saw a brown one run into our garage from under the wall. I am scared they're in there shitting in our boxes of stuff... or worse... making babies? Guess we have to get some poison/traps etc. Yuck! Thank God they're not in my house. I'd freeeeak!
So Meghan... whassssup?!? I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for your entry on welcoming him home etc.!
So the long weekend ahead is gonna be real friggen exciting. We have to drain & put away the pool, which is quite the process and spend all the time we can cleaning the house & yard. I have to make the keg & porta-potty arrangments too. It's sooo close! After this weekend we have one more week & a weekend to finish it, except Saturday the 9th in the evening, LZ is having her party. Then the following Monday I wanna chill & take it easy so I feel fanfuckingtastic for my birthday. I want the yard and house all done then so I am not stuck working my ass off on my birthday (or birthday week) like last year! Well, Thursday & Friday I'll do the final clean, prep & set up, plus any cooking I need to do, but no big deal... I just want it all nice by the 10th... wow... we better bust our butts this weekend!
Oh, speaking of the basement, I never noticed before, as there was boxes & crap piled up down there, but there's this round cover on the basement floor... it looks like from the Ring... it creeps me out too... I wanna dare HW to try & move it to see what it is... but I am chicken... probably shouldn't mess with it... the house was built in like 1912...
Can someone talk to HW and tell him it would be just the awesomest thing if he prposed in front of everyone at my party? Lol... I had a little day dream of that & how crazy awesome that would be... I'd be all crying though!
